Can you shoot at a real event, or do we need to stage a setup?

Both work. Real events give you the best ambient and service frames — guests in soft focus, wait staff plating, the room dressed. A controlled studio-style setup gives you the cleanest product shots for proposal PDFs. Most catering briefs combine both: real-event coverage on the day plus a half-day styled session in advance for the proposal library.

Do you shoot grazing boards and corporate event catering?

Yes — these are some of the most common catering briefs we shoot. Grazing boards photograph well overhead at a slight angle, with the board fully filled and one or two items 'in motion' (a hand reaching, a piece lifted). For corporate event catering we shoot the setup, the spread and the service — all three are needed for a strong proposal deck.

Can you shoot at the client's venue?

Yes — most catering shoots happen on-site at a function venue, hotel, marquee or private property rather than at the caterer's kitchen. We arrive 90 minutes before service for setup shots and stay through plate-up and the first 30 minutes of service for ambient and crowd frames.

Do you provide the linens, props and serveware?

Yes — we arrive with a prop kit (white and coloured linens, timber and slate boards, glassware, brass and matte-black serving pieces) sized for catering work. We confirm the brand palette and event style on the call beforehand so the prop selection matches your visual identity.
